5 Daily Morning Routines of Rich and Successful People

The way you manage your day is the way you manage your life.


Don’t dwell in the past or spend all your time worrying about the future. Focus on the present and you will have automatically set the route for a bright future ahead.


One can never perfectly manage every hour of every day but you can always manage your time in the morning- the one time the sole control of which lies entirely with you.


The people at the top, the rare 1% people know how to control their mornings. Today, I want to walk you through the 5 actions that every rich and successful person does- The morning schedules of these people, clubbed into one simple formula: G R E A T!

G: Gratitude

The very first thing you should do in the morning before getting off the bed is to start your day with gratitude. Express your gratefulness to the highest power of existence you believe in. The sense of gratitude spikes a great deal of motivation and energy in your body and mind to keep you going throughout the day.

R: Reading

Read a few positive, empowering and uplifting lines for at least 5-10 minutes every morning. Never force yourself into reading for 1 or 2 hours straight. If not an avid reader, those 5-10 minutes per day can eventually turn into a habit of longer duration once you start doing it consistently. Plan which book you’re going to read the night before and keep it on your bedside table so that you can get into it, the very next morning, right after waking up.

E: Eat a Nourishing Breakfast

Dietary habits may vary from person to person based on their working schedules. One may not always be able to cook themselves good food for lunch or work a fine dine out but breakfast is that one meal that is completely in your hands. Never miss out on it, prepare yourself a good hearty nourishing breakfast with a balanced diet. Drinking 2-3 glasses of water before having your breakfast is also a great benefactor when it comes to powering up your performance for the day.

A: Activate your Body

Be it brisk-walking, jogging, running or swimming, start your day with any movement-driven sport you like. Movement keeps you active and energetic throughout the day and also boosts your mental and emotional health. Make it a point to move your body every 20-30 minutes in a day.

T: Task for the Day

List down your 3 most important deliverables you expect yourself to produce during the day. Be it for your office, classes or field-work, always have 3 things decided which you feel you must achieve before you take off.


Action is the key success. Implement and experiment with all the habits one by one and as they go merging with your personality, start working on the rest. Practice the GREAT formula for 7 days without fail and you will start observing results right from the 8th day.
